THE rain clouds may have descended on Sydney, but Jesinta Franklin kept things red hot in a racy white dress to welcome international singer Rihanna to town.
Stepping out for the Fenty Beauty’s first anniversary in Sydney on Wednesday, Franklin paired a lacy Dion Lee white cut-out dress with peachy-coloured hair for the red carpet event.
The slinky design left little to the imagination, with lace revealing her torso and upper thigh. Pairing her look with a fresh chop, the Dior and Olay ambassador coloured her hair pale pink for the occasion.
“Pastel hues thanks to Diane Gorgievski,” she wrote on Instagram.
“Life is too short to care about what people think or to not have fun and try new things. This year was all about new beginnings, freedom, expression and doing things on my terms. Saying yes less and no more so that I could truly focus on the things that matter to me.”
Franklin, who married Sydney Swans AFL star Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin in 2017, said she asked the stylist to “chop all” her hair off as a way of kicking off her new take on life.
Rihanna arrived in Sydney earlier this week to celebrate the first anniversary of her beauty range, Fenty Beauty.
Wearing a skin-tight snakeskin dress with matching heels and bucket hat, the 30-year-old spent Wednesday night partying with Australian fans at the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney’s Circular Quay.
The successful singer and beauty mogul thanked her fans for attending the event, saying Australia is “very very dear to my heart”.
The invitation-only event came with strict instructions including a requirement for guests to “bring ID,” a bag search and no large bags or backpacks being permitted inside the venue.
